Web design in Fort Erie
Fort Erie is a border town and nearly everything commercial about it runs off the Peace Bridge. Trucking, warehousing, customs brokerage and the businesses around them are a serious slice of the local economy, and they sell to companies on the other side of a national boundary who will never drive past the yard.
When the customer is in Buffalo or Cleveland, the website is not a supplement to your reputation. It is the only thing they have to judge you on. That is a higher bar than a local trade has to clear, and most sites in this town are not built to it.
The other half of the municipality is ordinary and seasonal: contractors, marinas, restaurants, ice cream shops, a hair salon in Ridgeway, a physio clinic in Stevensville. Different customers, same need to be found before June.
Cross-border freight and a shoreline that empties in winter
Freight and logistics businesses need something closer to a commercial brochure than a local landing page. What you haul, which lanes you run, what equipment and certifications you hold, and a contact route that works for someone in another country and another time zone. A form that quietly sends an email is not enough when the enquiry is worth five figures.
The second economy is the shoreline. Crystal Beach and Ridgeway swing hard with the calendar — cottages, short-term rentals, restaurants, patios, rental shops and the property services that keep it all running. Those businesses live on a few months, which makes being findable in April worth more than anything else you could spend money on.
Stevensville and Bridgeburg carry the everyday work: trades, auto, building supply, the pharmacy, the diner, the clinic. The municipality is geographically large and thinly settled, so drive time is a real constraint. A service area drawn honestly makes more money than one drawn optimistically.
The population skews older than the regional average, and that shapes what sells. Accessibility work, heating reliability, roofing, hearing and foot clinics, home maintenance arranged in advance rather than in a panic. Those customers still phone rather than fill in a form. A big tappable phone number on every page is not a nice-to-have here. It is the conversion.

Local search in Fort Erie
Two different search jobs share one town. Freight and cross-border businesses get found through ordinary organic search and referral, often by someone in the United States, so the site and how clearly it is written carry everything. Seasonal and residential businesses get found in the map pack, where the profile, the reviews and correct hours decide it — and where being set up before the season starts is most of the battle.
If you are seasonal, start the work in winter. Local search takes three to six months to move, and there is no version of this where you begin in May and it is ready for July.
Next step: pricing is published, so you can rule things in or out before we speak. Book a callback and tell me which season you are trying to be ready for.
